• Puppets By Post was started in 1999 by the husband and wife team Sue & Peter Lockey with the aim of offering the largest range of puppets available anywhere. Puppets By Post supply puppets from various companies from around the world to both individuals and organizations. We always have over 1,000 different types of puppets in stock at our Head Office and Distribution Centre in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, Great Britain.
  
  
• Puppets By Post exhibit at all the main Education exhibitions around the UK and also at local Education and childcare conferences by arrangement.
  
  
• We also provide displays and/or workshops on how to use puppets for groups involved in the Education and Childcare sectors such as County Councils, Local Education Authorities, Early Years Teams, Sure Start Projects, NCMA and PSLA. • The Puppet Company offers a UK-based puppet and soft toy design service with manufacturing in China to all current CE standards. This is strictly a high volume service with quantities starting at 2,000 pieces per style. We are very sorry but we do not make ‘one-off’ puppets.
  
  
• We enforce a strict ethical trading policy and attempt never to buy from factories/companies that employ child labour. All our factories have been visited by ourselves to make sure working conditions are of a high standard.
